Here are my reflections while learning in this course for this semester.
First and foremost, I would like to thank to my lecturer for this course, Mr Azmi Bin Ibrahim for teaching me many useful lessons in ICT. There are a lot of things that I learned from this course. In the beginning of the semester, I was introduced about Smart School. Actually , I never heard about Smart School before. My friends and I were given first task to search about Smart School information and present it in front of the class two weeks later. So based on what I understand, Smart School is a school where most of the teaching, learning and administration process of the school is basically using ICT application. The students learn by using computers, while their teachers teaching them using Smart Whiteboard or other Smart learning applications everyday. Most of the Smart School in Malaysia is a private school and located near to big town or city such as in Kuala Lumpur, Cyberjaya and others. This Smart School is different with other ordinary school. Everything is completely full with technologies appliances.
Next, I have been introduced about data logging. Data logging is one of ICT applications and equipment that are been used in experiments especially in getting accurate data reading. This data logging give us ease to do experiment and collecting data easily in a short time without feeling burden doing experiments manually in a long duration. Thus, this data logging helps us in analyzing data by plotting it using graph correctly.
Then, I learned about modelling and simulation which is STELLA Simulation. This Stella Simulation is very interesting to use because the simulation helps us in predicting what will happen next for the experiment data. Besides, this simulation can be one of new useful method in teaching and learning process. This can helps to attract students to learn topics that are very abstract and hard to understand especially for science concept in Science subject.This is because the simulation helps students to visualize what they have learned in science concept indirectly.
Other than that, I can learned how to create a blog creatively through this course. Actually, I have learned how to create a blog before when I am in semester 1, but I have forgotten what I have learned. So this give me opportunity to revise and improve my knowledge to create my own blog more better. For example, I can learned how to create blog pages, designing and uploading images in Adobe Photoshop format, uploading documents and most important creating and editing my own video. Actually, I do not know how to create a video, so i grab this chance to learn in editing video by using Windows Movie Maker apps for the first time.
So to put in a nut shell, there are lot of things , information and knowledge that i can gained through this course. To me this is a best course ever. I really hope that I can keep and remember all of the knowledge very well and apply them when needed in the future. Thank You.
